True North Counseling Services Privacy Statement

In accordance with the American Counseling Association Ethical Standards it is our intent to offer online and phone counseling services while disclosing the following information:

1. Counselors who will offer services: Nancy Jenkins, LPC; Gregory Mason, CPCI, Marilyn Burke, MFT, Kris Cottrell, CPCI.

2.   Phone and Address: (801) 689-8199, True North Counseling Services, 4102 S. 1900 W., Roy, Utah, 84067, USA .

3.  Client’s full name and address will be required in order to provide counseling.

4.  Client’s date of birth; clients must be 18 years of age or older or have consent of a legal guardian.

5.  Online counseling is not the same as face-to-face counseling; and not all problems are appropriate for online counseling.

If your problem is not appropriate for online or phone counseling we will make a referral to an appropriate service provider.

6.  Ensuring complete confidentiality over the internet is not possible; however, we have taken every precaution possible to ensure your information is kept confidential. We do not sell or share your information with any third party without your written consent.

7.   Email is secure via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or via encryption software.

8.  Clients must be recorded agreeing to the waiver before beginning counseling, that agrees to the aforementioned guidelines of online and phone counseling.
